Just Because: Books

Whether it be fiction, historical novels, romance or sci-fi, books are a major part of my life. As a matter of fact, one of my many goals is to amass a library full of books, including all different genres and generations, classics and biographies, old favorites and new favorites, and different colors and sizes! I would love to collect books over the years and save them in my library, each one with its own written (and unwritten) story to tell.
So as spring rolls in (and vacation is not far ahead!) I decided to make a new book list. Here are just a few that I chose.

PS: Any good recommendations? Leave me a comment below!

“Written in 1948, 1984 was George Orwell’s chilling prophecy about the future. And while the year 1984 has come and gone, Orwell’s narrative is timelier than ever. 1984…presents a haunting vision of the world, so powerful that it is completely convincing from start to finish… No one can deny the power of this novel…or the resiliency of its admonitions…that seem only to grow with the passage of time.” –

“Harry Crewe is an orphan girl who comes to live in Damar, the desert country shared by the Homelanders and the secretive, magical Hillfolk. Her life is quiet and ordinary-until the night she is kidnapped by Corlath, the Hillfolk King, who takes her deep into the desert. She does not know the Hillfolk language; she does not know why she has been chosen. Nevertheless, as Harry is to be trained in the arts of war until she is a match for any of his men, she realizes she must have the courage to accept her truw fate.”

“Are you a gifted child looking for special opportunities?” ad attracts dozens for mind-bending tests. Only two boys and two girls succeed for a secret mission, undercover and underground into hidden tunnels. At the Learning Institute for the Very Enlightened, the only rule is – there are no rules.”

Lastly, a dreamy library that I’d love to spend a few hours (days?) in:

I am in love with that library—if only! 1984 is a really great book, I think you’ll like it. If you want, check out this link on my blog—It directs you to a link that’ll help you choose your next favourite book this summer.
